Patton Legion earns 9-4 victory over Stuckey Automotive

ALTOONA- The Patton Legion baseball team jumped back to .500 Sunday with a 9-4 victory over Stuckey Automotive at Vets Field.

Josh Miller (2-for-4) led the Redmen by driving in a pair of runs and scoring once himself. Patton (4-4) took a 3-0 lead after the first inning thanks to a two-run single from Kaleb Hikyer. Patton then expanded the lead to five after just two innings with Miller and Zach Letso both knocking in runs.

Josh Yachtis earned the win for the Redmen. He lasted five innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out two. Ethan Krocian threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Patton also benefited from six errors committed by Stuckey.

The Redmen are back in action tonight at Vets Field against Sheetz. Opening pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m.
